MR30 TSR 1X CHAINRINGS

The White Industries TSR 1X CHAINRING delivers reliable chain retention and efficient power transfer for modern 8–12-speed 1x drivetrains. We precision-machine every chainring in our Petaluma, California facility using premium aluminum. As a result, every chainring offers exceptional strength, durability, and long-lasting performance.

The TSR, which stands for Tall-Short-Ring, features a narrow-wide tooth profile that securely grips the chain. This design helps reduce chain drops on rough trails, gravel roads, and technical terrain. Therefore, it’s an excellent choice for mountain bikes, gravel bikes, cyclocross bikes, and adventure bikes. It is also fully compatible with singlespeed drivetrains.

Most chainrings are precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, a material known for its outstanding strength-to-weight ratio. Meanwhile, 48T through 52T chainrings are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. This material provides the additional strength and stiffness needed for larger chainring sizes.

• 28 teeth to 52 teeth in 2 tooth increments
• Boost and non-Boost versions
  • Standard/non-boost rings have a 3mm offset (inward)
  • Boost rings are flat (so 3mm outward of our standard/non-boost rings)
  • Standard/non-Boost rings can be flipped so the offset shifts outward to give you 3mm more outward offset than our Boost rings
    • This set up is is used on M30 cranks for a 55mm chainline needed for SRAM Transmission, Rohloff hubs, and Super Boost 157mm spaced hubs

Compatibility

• MR30 series TSR chainrings fit White Industries MR30 series spindle cranks only
• Compatible with SRAM 10/11/12 speed and 12 speed flat-top chains
• Compatible with SRAM 12 speed Eagle Transmission flat-top chains
• Compatible with Shimano 9/10/11/12 speed chains (and now works with the Shimano’s 12 speed Quick Link)
• Compatible with single speed 3/32 chains, but 8 speed 3/32″ chains are quieter
  • We like the SRAM PC 870, KMC X8, and KMC Z8.1/8.3
• Not compatible with “half” links
• Not compatible with 1/8″ chains
